Being a teacher does not mean you are able to make your students get many As in PMR or SPM. It is more than that. A teacher's worth to me should be measured through his/her ability to leave an impact in students' life. With the rat race and competitions in the world today, our students need survival skill to lead a better future and to survive. SPM results only help students to get scholarships or a place in University, but SPM does not ensure a better future. I have friends who did not do well in SPM, but they are really doing well in life nowadays. The most important thing is we know what we want in our life and work hard to achieve it. So, do not feel bad if you are not able to get straight As in exams, because our real life is not like examinations where you can choose your answers. Our life depends a lot on the decisions we made. And fellow teachers, our bigger responsibility is to teach our students about life, not on how to answer exam questions.
